Heads or tails, settled fairly

When two options are equally good (or equally annoying), a coin flip is the fastest way out. This coin flipis a genuine fifty-fifty: each flip uses your browser’s randomness, lands on heads or tails, and keeps a running tally so you can watch the count even out over a long session. No app, no account, nothing to install.

For the decisions worth keeping

A flip settles the moment, but the things you actually want to remember tend to live in your clipboard: a quote, a link, a note to yourself. Relic remembers everything you copy, forever, searchable on every device, and end-to-end encrypted so only you can read it. The coin is free. A clipboard that never forgets is what Relic is for.

Frequently asked questions

Is this coin flip really 50/50?

Yes. Each flip asks your browser's random number generator for a fresh value, so heads and tails each have exactly a 50 percent chance. The running tally lets you watch the ratio settle toward even over many flips.

Is a virtual coin flip fairer than a real coin?

Usually, yes. Studies of physical coin flips show a small bias toward the side facing up at launch. A software flip has no launch side, no catching technique, and no worn edges, so it is as close to a perfect 50/50 as you can get.

Can I flip multiple times in a row?

Flip as many times as you like. The tally counts every heads and tails in your session, which is handy for best-of-five decisions or checking the odds yourself. Reset it anytime.

Does the previous flip affect the next one?

No. Every flip is independent. Three heads in a row does not make tails more likely next, that feeling is the gambler's fallacy, and the tally here is a nice way to see independence in action.
