ASCII Art Text Generator

Type a short word into the box and the tool instantly draws it as a large banner. It renders each letter as a small grid of characters, then stitches the letters side by side into a 5-row block banner you can copy with one click. Up to 24 characters works best.

It covers A to Z, the digits 0 to 9, and spaces, all in one clean block style. Lowercase input is uppercased automatically, and anything it does not recognize (like punctuation or accented letters) is swapped for blank space so your layout stays lined up.

Anywhere that uses a monospace, fixed-width font: a terminal login greeting or message-of-the-day, a README header on GitHub, an ASCII banner in a code comment, or a chat message. In a proportional font the columns will not line up, so keep it in monospace.

ASCII banners only line up when every character has the same width, which is what a monospace font guarantees. If you paste into an app that uses a normal proportional font, the block letters will drift out of alignment. Switch that text to a monospace or code font and it will snap back into shape.
