This Morse code translator converts plain text into dots and dashes and decodes Morse back into readable text. Letters are separated by single spaces, and words are separated by a slash, which is the standard way to write Morse so other people and tools can read it. Press Play to hear it: a short beep for a dot, a longer one for a dash, with the right gaps between letters and words, built with the Web Audio API right in your browser. The full alphabet, the digits, and common punctuation are all supported.
