What is glitch (zalgo) text?
Glitch text, often called zalgo, is normal text with lots of Unicode combining marks stacked onto each letter. Those marks pile up above and below the characters, giving that creepy, corrupted, overflowing look. It is real text, not an image.
How do I make glitch text to copy and paste?
Type your words and pick a glitch intensity, from light to heavy. Copy the result and paste it wherever you want the corrupted effect. Lighter settings are the safest bet if you want it to survive more apps.
Why does my glitch text get stripped or flattened somewhere?
Glitch text is the most fragile of these styles. Many platforms strip or limit stacked combining marks to stop text from spilling into other lines, so a heavy glitch effect can come out toned down or plain. This is expected, and lighter intensity holds up better.
Will glitch text mess up the layout of a page or chat?
It can, on purpose. Tall stacks of marks may overlap the lines above and below, which is part of the look but also why some apps limit it. If you want the effect without the overflow, use a lighter setting.
