How do I clean up messy text?
Paste it in and the tool collapses runs of extra spaces down to one, trims the whitespace off the start and end of every line, and removes empty lines completely. What you get back is tidy, evenly spaced text ready to reuse.
What exactly does the text cleaner remove?
Three things at once: doubled-up spaces and tabs (collapsed to a single space), leading and trailing whitespace on each line, and blank lines. Your actual words and single line breaks between content stay put.
Does it keep my paragraph breaks?
Empty lines are removed, so gaps you were using to separate paragraphs will close up. If you need those blank lines preserved and only want spacing fixed, use our whitespace remover, which leaves empty lines alone.
