What the chips are
Under the search box there is a row of small chips with counts on them. Each one is a group Relic has spotted among your items: your links, your screenshots, your receipts. A group only appears once you have something in it, so the row grows as your vault does and never shows an empty box.
These come from what Relic can tell about the content itself. They are not something you edit. The tags you write are separate, and they live behind the # button. See Tags.

Using a chip
- Click one and the list narrows to that group. The chip moves up above the list, in gold, with a small x on it.
- Click it again, or click the x, and the filter comes off.
- Pick two and you get the items in both.
- Keep typing while a chip is on. Words, dates and chips all narrow the same list.
Underneath, a chip is a tag, so the same filter can be typed. The tag is not always spelled like the chip: Links is tag:url, Prices is tag:currency, QR codes is tag:qrcode. Open the # button to see the tag on any item, and Search operators for how to type one.
